1860's Style...

We headed out to Sabathday Shaker Village this afternoon to get our picture taken by a local  business who specializes in tintype photographs. I wore the dress I made for the church Christmas fair and Asher wore an antique Christening gown that I bought ages ago.  I should have fixed my hair in a historic style,( will have to do that next time), but I'm still pleased with how it came out.   We want to get a family portrait done as soon as I get an outfit made for everyone.
If you are local and want a picture done(you don't have to go historic dress like I did), check out  Cole Caswell at www.Agno3lab.com

Have a great weekend,

Tiff

  2. Looks just like the 1860's. We have a similar place near us that does this. I had taken my kids to get their picture done..never thought as a family though. Yours looks good! Janice
