The January bulletin board for the elementary school went up on the 4th when the kids returned to school. The theme for this month was the "One School, One Book" they are reading...The One and Only Ivan. The gorilla's face looks better in person, the paper has a bulge in it and it photographed it distorted:( Realistic animals are hard to paint in large scale!
That was a very short holiday from school, we did have about 6 weeks, some of December and all January, when I was at school, both primary and secondary schools. But this was our summer, in winter 2 weeks was the norm.
