Yes, it's January 8th, and it has been over a month since I had my annual gingerbread house decorating party, I totally forgot to share it with you ! In my defense, December was a very busy month and we had lots going on, still do...
So, to be honest, I've been short for words lately, I don't have much to say and what I do say seems to come out in a jumbled mess and I sound incoherant at times(maybe my thoughts are just in a chaotic mess). Don't know whether I'm coming or going at times.
Anyway, I planned on doing something different this year for the party, I had grand ideas of making pretzel log homes. Ya, that didn't turn out well. So two days before the party I went down to the basement and sawed wood door hanger houses that we would then paint at the party. I think it went over well, and now everyone has something they can keep for years...

ReplyDeleteOK I am torn, by the way they are well good but I like #2 and #6... Love log cabins but then the real effect gingerbread house would be #2..... So #2 it is for me b😀. Great job ladies on all!!!!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like such a great party. #4 for me! Depression might be setting in. My husband was told by the Dr. to use his light box. Maybe that might help you too? Bless you and your family for a great new year. I love your family photo of the children coming down the stairs! So sweet.
