Well, I did it last night. I signed up for Weight Watchers online. I couldn't do it by myself, I needed guidance and rules to follow, plus if I'm paying for it, I'm more likely to stick with it :) I'm tired of being tired, I need to lose weight and get in shape. I don't expect to be tiny, I never have been, but I don't want to be this big anymore. My long term goal is 70lbs, but right now my tiny goal is 12lbs.
I hate having my picture taken, so hopefully that will go away once I feel better about how I look. No more hiding behind babies when the camera clicks!(though I don't mind babies and would really LOVE one more(sending that hint up to Heaven!)).
Here are two before pictures, and these are the only ones I'm willing to share right now! The others make me shudder.
In a few months, I'll update with a more recent picture and keep that up until I reach my goal. I really think I can do it this time because I NEED to do it.
Have a lovely day,
Tiff
Now that you have done an "accountability post", you will find you have many encouragers out here. :) My Mom did amazing when she started counting her points.....and he was doing the program with her friends.

Good luck! Of course you can do it! I am the same way - I need rules. I can't just say I am going to eat better and exercise more - I have to have rules and regulations and such. I think it is because we are obedient women; we like to keep the rules! lol
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
Good luck to you....it really works!
ReplyDeleteBEST OF LUCK TO YOU! ONCE YOU GET STARTED AND START LOSING LBS YOU WILL GET INSPIRED AND WANT TO KEEP IT UP. I KNOW BECAUSE I`VE BEEN THERE. ITS A WONDERFUL SAFE PROGRAM. THAT FIRST STEP IS THE HARDEST AND THAT YOU HAVE FINISHED. GOOD GOING AND KEEP MOVING. !!!!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl. That's what having babies does to us!!!! I know you can do it. -Steph-
ReplyDeleteI can relate!! And have wondered how the WW online works, but I thought it was free? Good luck and take it one day at a time!

I'm counting points myself. I just started last week. I'm using the old points program, but ordered the materials for the new program. It does work. We can cheer each other on!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Courtney
The hardest part is starting..You are on your way now..Good Luck with achieving your goal..
ReplyDeleteTiff, Good luck, the first week on Weight Watchers wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be. I believe paying the Weight Watchers fee along with the weekly weigh-in will keep me accountable. I am however, finding walking the 10,000 steps daily difficult. Any tips will be appreciated! All the best, Julie.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Impressive. I have been feeling just like what you talked about. I just got the paperwork to join the gym-just need to bring it in tomorrow & get working! Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeletePS-Now that I have seen your pic, I swear that I have seen you around town before:) Not sure where...
