The neighborhood baby shower was today. I got several cute outfits, diapers, gift cards, toys, and such for baby Mason. It was very nice and very thoughtful of my neighbors.
Here is the gift I made for my neighbor who is due with a baby girl the end of March.
Here is the finished quilt. I put a super soft minky(I think that is the name of it) fabric on the back. Machine quilted it and handstitched the binding.
It came out cute and ended up being bigger than I expected, which is a good thing.
I still need to finish up, ok start, the bedding for the little crib in the family room, that will be this week's project.
Have a wonderful day,
Tiff
The gifts are really cute. Especially those little shoes. Janie

Minky is such a wonderfully soft fabric - wish it had been around when my children were babies, but I guess my grandchildren will be able to enjoy it (if I ever GET any!)

ReplyDeleteThe baby gifts are precious! I love that minky fabric. I wish those soft fabrics would have been available when my kids were little (30 some odd years ago).
ReplyDeleteIs it too late to ask a question? If not, I'd like to how you got started collecting prims, what inspired you and does your husband like prim decorating? I only ask the last part of the question because when I started collecting some prim things like old windows, rakes and such he didn't like them at all.
