Years ago, I collected roosters and chickens, from wood ones to ceramic ones. Eventually my taste changed and the vast majority of them have left my house. But somewhere along the way, I started picking up eggs and egg related things...egg cartons, wood eggs, signs, etc. Then my dad spotted a wood egg crate at a junk shop in Ohio(that's where my parents live) that had "Maine" on it. He bought it for me and has since bought me 3 more crates, all in different sizes. So I owe that part of my collection to him. And I still have some chickens, a tin one and her babies.
I just found your blog Tiff and I really have enjoyed it so far. Your house is beautiful. I love the way you have it all primmed up. Looking forward to reading more about what you are doing in the days to come.
