Open house goodies...

Some friends and I went to the open houses up New Gloucester on Saturday. It was very nice to meet Birgit of The Primitive Country Bug and Lizzie of Lizzies Raggs and see both their lovely homes. Here are some of the goodies I brought home, I would have loved to bought more, but money is tight.

First are some cookie cutters to add to my collection. These are reproductions, but were a bargain and I couldn't resist them.
Next I got this candle holder and grubby candle. I will fill the base with rosehips or berries. My good friend bought the same holder(but in a different color) and candle too!
And last I got some textiles. Two padded table runners(the blue ticking ones), one for me and one for my mom. Two dish towels, the red plaid and the brown gingham. And the mustard woven long valance which I'm going to use as a table runner.
I wasn't feeling that great today, so I didn't get any projects around the house accomplished so nothing new to show you. We did get the basement pretty much done on Sunday, I just need to go through about 5 boxes of stuff and figure out what to do with it. And right now I have to stay up late and bake and decorate 42 cupcakes for my son to take to school tomorrow for his birthday. His birthday is actually Wednesday, but they have off for Veteran's day.

Have a nice day,

Tiff
