Day 10, Cookies and Moose are Finished...

I know I'm cutting it close today, but I haven't had the best of days and I'm a bit cranky. But I am keeping with my goal and here we are at Day 10.

My 4 yr old and I made sugar cookies this afternoon. He cut the majority of them out and did a great job.
I was planning on frosting all of them tonight, until I realized that I bought the wrong stuff for the royal icing.
I changed the moose up a bit and used the crushed velvet ribbon I picked up at goodwill and added a bell.
They are done! Yay, so one more thing checked off my list. Tomorrow I will package them up.
I'm off to bed and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

  1. Love the Moose..I will never forget the 1 year I let my 8 sons help with making cut out cookies and decorating them..They renged in age from 2 to 14 and there was a little arguing about who was doing things wrong and it was a very big mess to clean it up..I did learn to do the baking after that with just 2 kids at a time? But it is definately a memory that I NEVER forgot.

  3. Thanks for taking the time to blog. You are inspiring me...seriously! I am getting ready for a full day of quilting....gifts don't make themselves around here. :) I wont get everything made that I had planned, so I am offering one pattern on my weekend give-a-way. Have a great day!
